Our focus on sustainability drives us to use recycled plastics, promoting eco-friendly practices.
In 2020 we launched an in-house recycling plant. Plastic waste is sorted, cleaned and reprocessed into granules, which go back into our extrusion lines to make 100% recycled packaging products such as heavy-duty garbage bags and sheeting.
We are certified by the National Environment Management Council (NEMC) for environmental compliance, and we adapted our machinery and processes to Tanzania's plastic bag ban in 2019. For customers with their own sustainability goals, we offer compostable and oxo-biodegradable film alongside conventional plastic.

Are your products made from recycled plastic?
Many are. Our recycling plant turns plastic waste into granules for 100% recycled packaging such as heavy-duty garbage bags and sheet. Food-contact packaging like bread bags and milk pouches is made from food-grade material.
Do you buy plastic waste?
If you have plastic scrap or recyclable film to supply, use the contact form, choose Supplier and then Recycled plastic or scrap.
Are you environmentally certified?
Yes. Mr. Plastic is certified by the National Environment Management Council (NEMC) for environmental compliance.
